Andy served in the United States Army Military Police Corps for 8 years both as a reservist and on Active Duty.  He served in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he was the recipient of several awards, to include the Combat Action Badge.  During his time in the Army, Andy served as a team leader, squad leader, platoon sergeant, military police soldier, range safety, PMI/BRM instructor for the M16A2, M4, M9 and M249 weapon systems, range control NCO, and as a trained and certified Combat Lifesaver (CLS).  Andy has also worked on motorcade and checkpoint security for the President of the United States.

Andy currently serves as a full-time sworn police officer in the State of Minnesota.  Andy also is a Yellow Ribbon Military Reintegration Program instructor and instructor trainer.  He is currently a GLOCK certified armorer and a certified AR/M16/M4 armorer and advanced armorer.
